Afekth

(English version) Afekth is the four-piece metal/alternative band from Poland. The band was created by Maciek Dymus in early 2008. In that time the band went through some experiments and changes, then started stage activity in 2009, when the first EP "The First Two Names" was released. Just straight after, the band took part in gigs with many famous bands from Poland and played their first most important act at before party of Knockout Festival, where bands like Apocalyptica, Meshuggah, The Dillinger Escape Plan and Cynic were playing also. Since then the band was mentioned on many famous Polish music sites like Interia.pl, got some good reviews about debut EP, was mentioned as an artist of the day at Muzzo.pl and played next successful gigs. In 2011 the band played big shows abroad (OBOA Festival in Gorgast, Germany and Euroblast Festival in Köln, Germany). In 2016 Afekth plans to release debut longplay. W tamtym czasie Afekth przeszedł trochę eksperymentów oraz zmian i swoją sceniczną aktywność zaczął w 2009 roku, kiedy wyszła pierwsza EPka "The First Two Names". Chwilę później zespół wziął udział w wielu występach ze znanymi polskimi zespołami i pojawił się na wydarzeniu Knockout Festival, gdzie zagrali znani artyści jak Apocalyptica, Meshuggah, The Dillinger Escape Plan oraz Cynic. Od tego momentu zespół został wymieniony na wielu znanych muzycznych portalach jak Interia.pl. Zyskał również dużo pozytywnych recenzji na temat debiutanckiej EPki, został ogłoszony artystą dnia na Muzzo.pl oraz zagrał kolejną serię dobrych koncertów. W roku 2011 zespół zagrał za granicą na dużych festiwalach (OBOA Festival w Gorgast, Niemcy oraz Euroblast Festival w Köln, Niemcy). W 2016 roku Afekth planuje wydać debiutancki longplay, który obecnie nagrywa. Afekth - metal/alternative band from Poland.
