Brett Dennen

We were told Brett Dennen would be entertaining beyond the music and were not disappointed. Great music and a quirky personality and stage presence made for a great show.

I enjoy his song writing and music. He had to warm up to crowd prior to improving his stage presence. Enjoy the Kirkland Performance Center a lot.

This was my first time seeing Brett Dennen live. He puts on an amazing show. Super funny guy, too, which I did not see that coming.

Brett played guitar with three fingers due to a splint on the forefinger of his left hand. Accompanied by a keyboard player. His dynamic voice and personality provided for a great show.

Brett rocked the stage armed with just his acoustic guitar and his Amazon showmanship. We were 333 feet underground in the cave but it sounded just like the Ryman.

Absolutely amazing. An intimate and fun show where we really got to hear some great stories from Brett. Can’t wait to go again next year!

This was my fifth time seeing Brett. It’s like he is just visiting his friends that he hasn’t seen in a while, and maybe playing them a few songs around a campfire. He is warm, funny, and obviously, the songs are fantastic. He is simply one of the best live performers you will ever see. Special props for the acoustic version of “Queen of the Westside”. There are no words to describe how bad-ass that was. Except maybe, It rocked me to my soul. Thanks for another great show Brett. Peace and Love.

Great concert! Kinda disappointed that Brett and Jason Mraz didn’t collaborate but still a great show. Also had the pleasure of meeting Brett at the CD signing. -Jellyman

Brett Dennen is always a great show! So interactive with his crowd, meaningful music, he’s just a great show all around!! Bring him back again!!!

I am so glad that I attended this show. Brett is the most talented songwriter of his generation and I am thrilled that I had the opportunity to see him live in such an intimate setting. I will treasure this memory always.

One of the coolest intimate shows I've seen. 250 seat hall small enough that Brett had conversations with us and Responded to requests.Highly recommend

The venue was amazing. You feel with in talking distance to the artist. Brett was funny, ineractive with the crowd. This was on of the best living room performances that I have ever witness and it with 200 hundred friends.

Great, intimate acoustic show. Brett was having fun and even giggled a bit during some songs while fans were giving playful banter. Overall, great show!

It was a super personal concert. I was standing about two feet from Brett and it was a great show. He took suggestions once he played the songs he wanted to play and hung out after the concert. Brett consistently puts on a good show, so glad I went.

Awesome show! Love Brett even more now. Foy Vance was wonderful as well, and I bought his album on the way out. Great night. Look forward to seeing Brett again.

Brett was an awkward performer with his foot & knee work but Foy Vance was amazing! Wish he would've played longer during the opening.

Brett is possibly my husband's and my favorite artist so it was of course amazing to see him, especially at such an intimate venue like the troubadour. That said, last night it just wasn't our favorite playlist, and Brett seemed a little distant/tired. :( Seeing him outdoors in Ojai a few years ago was beyond amazing- hopefully next time will be again! Brett is a prophet for our generation. An unexpected bonus of the night was Grizfolk- we were both blown away by them and are so excited to hear more! Trying to buy an album but so far only see singles on iTunes...
