Evolving from a wellspring of musical styles, DMT puts a unique spin on it's ever-changing improvisation formula and creates a truly 1-of-a-kind dynamic original sound with roots in rock, funk, blues, jazz, noise, and electronic dance music. Every listener takes away something different from each live DMT experience, comparing the band's prodigal vibe to a number of eclectic and celebrated bands, including Pink Floyd, Phish, Jimi Hendrix, Tool, the Grateful Dead, U2, and many others. Since forming in March of 2012, DMT has developed a dedicated cadre of super-fans in Portland, and has begun expanding outward into neighboring states across the Pacific North West.
