About Young Speedy
Young Speedy has always been musically gifted. From a young age, they were singing, performing, and playing a variety of instruments. Throughout the course of their musical career, Young Speedy has won over the hearts of music lovers from all walks of life; performing at a variety of venues, making loads of public appearances, all the while recording new music. Learn more by exploring the site, and feel free to get in touch with any of your comments and questions.Grew Up in the streets of Memphis Tennessee By way of Mississippi became addicted to music as a child.
I became a drummer playing to classic rock hits & became obsessed with hip hop at around the age of 12.
I began to frequent studios with the homie John Wayne & Goldie two Memphis music legends and honed my style.
With a mix of street Rap and heartfelt music I was able to refine who I was as an artist with a unique perspective.
With the consequences of street life, music was the grounding I needed to forge a new future
After moving locations to Colorado (linking up with a local producer Icy-Mic-B),I was able to realize music goals I set while hustling and grinding.
As a mature artist who has a urban yet world view of life, I write and recite lyrics that are timeless to all forms of music . Young Speedy has also recently been sign to Bentley Records. As well as working with some great management in the industry.
