The interpretation TtA took on this is to pass through seemingly endless dark times in life, always a light at the end of the tunnel.

Traverse the Abyss is a heavy metal band from Scranton, Pennsylvania. Traverse the Abyss formed in 2016 and current line up is Eric Abyss (Vocals), "Iron" MIke White (Guitar), MIke "Bnoc" Bieniecki (Bass/Backing Vocals), Matt Mierzejewski (Guitar) & David Wilczewski (Drums).

Traverse the Abyss debuted onto the music scene on October 1st, 2016 with the lyric video for the single "One of a Kind" a modern metal song with positive self empowering lyrics and a consistent thundering drive throughout the song. On November 26th, 2016, Traverse the Abyss followed up with the self release of the debut album "The Gamble of Life".
The Gamble of Life represents the highs, lows, and unpredictability you will encounter in everyday life demonstrated by incorporating sub genres all over the Metal spectrum including Metalcore, Thrash Metal, Nu-Metal, Death Metal and even venturing off into the regions of Pop Punk, Punk Rock, Hard Rock, Rap and more to create a beastly, direct, in-your-face approach to modern metal. In 2017, Traverse the Abyss became an endorsed artist of veteran companies Spector Bass and Dirtbag Clothing, alongside releasing a music video for the single "Dead Weight" and the song "Battle Cry".

2018 was a great year for Traverse the Abyss, releasing their self titled EP on August 24th, 2018. The EP displayed a much darker and aggressive side of the band while still maintaining the Traverse the Abyss sound that the fans grew to love. Traverse the Abyss was also a finalist for NEPA's neXt2rock competition, performed all over the north eastern United States, became endorsed by InTune Guitar Picks and shared the stage with several national touring acts such as Motionless in White, Whitechapel, Chelsea Grin, Slaughter to Prevail, Miss May I, Volumes,Upon a Burning Body and many more.

Currently, Traverse the Abyss is writing new songs, preparing for East Coast Spring-Summer runs, hometown (Scranton,PA) music festivals and much more!
