About Michael Morrow & The Culprits
MICHAEL MORROW & THE CULPRITS deliver a hard rock southern vibe that harken back to the days of Aerosmith, Blackfoot and KISS while delivering an electric energetic performance. In late 2017, this colorado based band released RAUCOUS. It is the 3rd album from Michael Morrow but first with this lineup. The hard driving single OUR DARKEST HOUR will have a video release in April of 2018. Fan favorites BLUE SKIES and BETTER THINGS are the follow up singles to follow.
With Song titles like ROCK AND ROLL AIN'T NEVER PAID MY BILLS, DIRTY LITTLE LOVE SONG, BAD PENNY, NO GOOD REASON & WHAT WE LEAVE BEHIND, they almost paint a picture before their delivery. Craig Jahns masterful tone and style laid over Michael's Gretsch Hollow-body rhythms give the songs a nice push on top Tim Elliott's pounding drums and Randy Mosman high energy bass performance. Michael and Craig utilize an open tuned guitar against a standard much like the Rolling Stones to give a nice depth to the songwriting. The 3 part harmony is very much a part of the sound. Randy Mosman delivers the high harmony with a nice lower third from Tim Elliott.
Michael has opened for: Foghat, Loverboy, Quiet Riot, Dokken, Great White, Slaughter, Jackyl to name a few over the years. From the Greeley Stampede, Sturgis, Bobstock (Fort Morgan) to some of Denver's best Rock Clubs, he and the boys always make shows fun and engaging.
