Vintersea

VINTERSEA is an extreme melodic metal band from Oregon's Willamette Valley. Masterfully fusing the essential elements of metal's most revered sub-genres with anthemic songwriting, VINTERSEA has forged a distinctive brand of intense, blackened progressive metal that echoes the darkened skies of the Pacific Northwest.

Since bursting onto the scene in 2017, VINTERSEA has electrified audiences while opening for acclaimed international acts including JINJER, MOONSPELL, NE OBLIVISCARIS, FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE, and THE OCEAN COLLECTIVE. These energetic performances caught the attention of M-Theory Audio, leading to a worldwide record deal in late 2019. The band then unleashed their sophomore album, "Illuminated", followed by their hard-hitting 2023 release, "Woven Into Ashes".

These powerful albums have amassed millions of music video views and garnered widespread critical praise, catapulting VINTERSEA to multiple international tours and solidifying their reputation as one of the region’s most captivating live acts.
Following the departure of original vocalist Avienne, VINTERSEA welcomed the dynamic Kayla Dixon (WITCH MOUNTAIN, DRESS THE DEAD), infusing new energy into their already formidable lineup. With renewed focus and an exciting new chapter ready to unfold, VINTERSEA stands to unleash the raw power and creativity of the Pacific Northwest's music scene on a global stage.
