Madhouse

MadHouse was formed in Warren, Michigan in 2013. The idea for the band started with Ryan West (Singer/Songwriter and Guitarist) and Jake Turskey (Drummer). Inspired by the old-school punk sound, they decided it was time to start something new. After Ryan brought up the idea to Forrest Hayes (Bass & Back-Up Harmonies) the trio known as MadHouse was united. The three- piece band fused together; punk, ska, and reggae sounds that started decades ago, but with a modern twist. On June 1st 2014 the band release their first 6 song EP entitled “Keep on Fighting” that was released at the “WestFest” a cancer benefit show with around 300 attendees. The title track was written for those struggling with cancer, and was made to be an anthem of hope to “keep on fighting” through their struggles. The album is available for download at www.madhousepunk.bandcamp.com. It was recorded at West Vision Recording Studio and mastered at Clear Glass Recordings. The band has since then preformed at Harley Fest, the Stars & Stripes Festival, Uncle Sam Jam, along with countless amounts of other venues. They band has been hard at work in the studio working on another EP that should be released soon. Expect big things from MadHouse in the days to come!
