A City For The Taking is a Metal band from Leander, TX, basing their roots in the Austin, TX and surrounding areas not afraid to explore outside of their musical boundaries. The band has been around since March of 2010, formerly going by the name, "Lock All Doors". Since that time, the band has changed quite drastically. Our sound, equipment, stage presence, professionalism, even our members have changed to show our level of commitment to our passion of music. The band consists of an upfront and fast moving vocalist whose vicious screams and low growls add the perfect touch to the band's brutality, two fast paced, quick fingered guitar players, a bassist who has no problem keeping up with soaring guitar riffs, and a drummer that's totally incredibly excellent. This band's stage presence, creative guitar harmonies, intense breakdowns, and crazy solo shredding is sure to keep the crowd entertained and moving the entire time, while giving our fans a excellent time they will surely tell their grand kids.
