About Halflives

Halflives
Halflives sounds like late nights and heavy hearts. In the words of singer and producer Linda Battilani, her music is "for the broken and the misfits", the ones who feel too much, think too hard and still get back up. Born in Italy, based between her studio and the road, Linda Battilani turns frustration, heartbreak and hope into emo-pop anthems that hit like confessions and scream like revolutions.
Dark alternative rock meets cinematic pop and a touch of electronic chaos - think Paramore, PVRIS, Bring Me The Horizon on the edge of a breakdown. The new EP "How Much A Heart Can Take Before It Breaks" moves through rage, numbness and acceptance, from the burnout anthem "Eat Sleep Work Die!!! Repeat" to the queer resilience of "Immortals" and the fragile brightness of "perfectly broken".
Fans of heart-on-sleeve lyrics, heavy feelings and songs that sound like survival will find in Halflives a revival of the 2000s emo sound that defined a new era of rock music. Through personal and societal hardships, Halflives' message is always that of full-circle journeys and resilience.
When the world's on fire, Halflives' passionate community and live shows are always a place to scream, to connect and to remember what it feels like to be alive.

What fans are saying
Atmosphere and vibe was amazing.
wasn't expecting it to be so great.
Rather small venue but the crowd was on fire! I absolutely loved it. More than worth the price!

Linda and co. were very good live. Bags of energy, great crowd interaction and a very polished show indeed. I would highly recommend seeing them live it you're a fan, or if you just like some wholesome pop/punk goodness.
I also have to mention Lost Zone. I admit that when hearing they were opening for Halflives I listened to some of their music and wasn't convinced, however, they were absolutely brilliant live. They did a great job at warming up the crowd and raising the energy levels.
