Yet another amazing show by these two! Even tighter since they have been away. Double Whammy very cool, so good to see it packed out.

About Earth Tongue
Hailing from New Zealand, heavy psych rock duo Earth Tongue have become known for their mind altering, cult-like live performances. With only two people on stage, their sonic power, intricate world-building and rich visuals have combined to launch them on a seemingly non-stop tour for the past few years. Guitarist Gussie Larkin is a master of the fuzz-smothered riff, and along with Ezra Simons’ off-kilter drumming, they’ve been sending punters into transcendental states since their emergence in 2016.
After touring Europe with American multi-instrumentalist Ty Segall in 2024, the duo caught the attention of iconic Los Angeles based rock' n' roll label In The Red Records - an imprint that has released albums from the likes of Thee Oh Sees, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, Wand and Ty Segall himself. In The Red promptly signed them, and released their second album Great Haunting in June 2024. Written during the pandemic lockdown era while holed up binging on 1970’s and 80’s horror movies, the nine-track album is a fuzz-soaked overload — conjuring vast sonics from just guitar, drums and yowls. Their love of B-movies also runs through their self-produced music videos, which are steeped in Giallo tropes; from melted candles to sacrificial daggers.
Since the release of their first album Floating Being in 2019, Earth Tongue have hit the road time and time again, sharing stages with the likes of Queens of the Stone Age, IDLES, Ty Segall, Acid King, Brant Bjork and Kikagaku Moyo. Currently based in Berlin, Earth Tongue are continuing to pick up high praise from headbangers all over the world.
