Red Eye Rising

Red Eye Rising was formed by two long time friends, bassist Josh Orebaugh and vocalist Derek Pruett, in August of 2010. Not long after, Zack Manuel was approached by Josh to step in and join on drums. Through the first year of growth, changes happened. Musicians came and went from the lineup, but the three starting men continued to push the boundaries of what was a "dream" as Red Eye Rising. Noting that it's not just about making music, but another act of worship to God as well. All three members still exist as the main lineup this very day. With the soon release of their single "Never Again," and the near future looking promising for the first full length release, 2012 will be a year to "..Never go back from where I came...". The guys are planning to stay steady in the current writings, and creative experiments. Ready to bring a newer, more mature sound to the table. Adding elements of harmony, breakdowns, and raw-energetic screams to the always flowing sound of orchestral ballads, and just straight-forward hard rock tunes. A rock band from Wichita, Kansas.
