The Cotillion
April 2nd 2019
The cotillion is the perfect blend of being big enough to attract decent bands but small enough to have an intimate setting. Mona opened up for Blue October and lead singer Nick Brown showed off his large vocal range while interacting with the crowd. Blue October came on stage and did a good mix of upbeat rock and slower songs. Great show overall.

Great concert! It was my 7th time setting them and they NEVER disappoint! I loved that Matt came out after the show and walked around and talked to fans. And even took pictures. While Justin is at the merch table signing autographs. 💙

The Garage
February 22nd 2019
Amazing as always and can’t thank the Garage staff enough. Nothing was too much bother and accommodated my disability as much as they could. So nice to see a venue with staff who care. Massive thank you to Ewan you’re a gem. The band were lovely as always and liked to get involved with the fans. Definitely go back to see them. Thank you for the music xx
Blue October rocked it as always. All the guys were on point. A great christmas show with the exception of the Ashley duo, I love you’s, and the girl in front of me who bragged about sitting with Justin’s Mom, who admittedly remarked that she is a BO Roadie... all good, but the girl really was off beat to music the entire time waving her arms in our face.

Amazing!!! Couldn't have asked to be any better. Venue were on the ball with tickets and VIP status stuff, really liked the extra staff helping us in the place, felt quite special just being a VIP for Blue October. We had the Meet and Greet, if you can do that, pay for it and do it, you'll never not do It again! Love meeting the band, close and personal, shake hands, (girls get a cuddle if lucky, some boys do to, but you've to be standing out a bit from the crowd, whether it's due to what your wearing or how your hair is, those tend to get slightly more touch time. I don't mean colour your hair green or blue, lots do and the band aren't all that interested, however if you have a Mohawk or Frohawk then your likey to be talk to more) You get a signed poster and during this signing you get to shake hands with them all, talk to them briefly, (few seconds reslly, enough for a quick hello, how are you sort of thing. If your good you'll get a little extra time by asking the right questions. Have to remember, unless your American, the band will sometimes misshear people due to the UK accents we all have up and down the country so speak clearly and concisely. The actual set was amazballs! Things seem to be running a bit late, not sure why, but even after the stage was set up for the initial warm up performers, Coco and the Butternuts, we seemed to be waiting around a lot. They came on, did 4 songs, better playing live than recorded on YouTube, doesn't do them justice. Then a wait as the stage was cleared and Blues stuff was put on stage. About 20 mins or so perhaps? Then the "Omg it's freaking amazing!" Happens. Time then accelerates as the set whoshes by. Always at around half hour or more before the advertised set ending time, they close and say goodnight, making you think that's it....It's not! Don't be fooled, they'll play another 4 songs or so, this time, Justin played acoustic and sang beautifully as you'd expect. Ramping it back up to end on ",I hope your happy!" Then they ended leaving the instruments feeding back through pedals and guitars, they left the stage with all this noise going on. It was truly a fantastic time, even accidentally following Will and Paul (Tour manager) to the dry cleaners LOL Would I recommend it?? Absolutely yes, especially while they are still playing small venues, once they play bigger venues, you'll lose that connection, that intimacy that the O2Ritz gives you. So do it when you can as they'll stop touring one day and that'll be it. Hope it's not for a long time though.

Second concert in the last two years, first one in Portland, Maine, 6 stars, as it felt better, closer and more intimate. This one felt more remote, too big venue, and the venue it self might be iconic, but wow next time this we will order seats, as they were really made for the little people, a definitively not us.
