Let It Slide

Biography: I Let It Slide sono un trio punk rock proveniente dalla provincia bergamasca. Il progetto nasce nel 2009 e fonde l'urgenza del punk rock di matrice californiana con l'impatto graffiante di un certo tipo di alternative rock. - Nel 2009 i Let It Slide partecipano alle riprese di "Un sogno serio", film prodotto dalla 3lire Film, che ripercorre la favola dell'Albinoleffe intrecciandosi coi sogni degli abitanti della valle Seriana; All'interno del film vengono ripresi mentre suonano "Risveglio(Lotta)" durante un live.Nel Maggio 2010 pubblicano "Venom" il loro primo EP, e a seguire si impegnano in varie date live per la promozione dello stesso, ottenendo un buon riscontro da parte del pubblico e supportando il disco in svariati contesti live. Sempre nello stesso anno firmano per My Own Poison, nuova label del panorama punkrock/rock n roll bergamasco. Nel 2011 la band entra in studio (Little Inuit Rec. Studio di Leffe(BG) ) per registrar “Mi Vida”, un anticipazione dell’album che verra’ pubblicato nel 2012. Il successivo tour li porta a fare tappa in varie parti d’Italia: da Melzo a Baselga di Pine’ (TN), al Balla coi Cinghiali Festival di Savona, a Brescia, in Emilia Romagna, esibendosi anche all’estero: in Belgio(B52 Eeenergem) e oltremanica al Fiddler’s Elbow di Camden Town (London-UK). Nei primi mesi del 2012 Mattia entra a far parte della line up come nuovo batterista. La band comincia a scrivere pezzi nuove e registra un nuovo singolo (Florentio – available on Amazon/Itunes) e a giugno intraprende un tour che li vede esibirsi in Olanda, Belgio, Germania, Polonia e Repubblica Ceca. A partire da inizio 2013 i tre si chiudono in saletta per intraprendere il lavoro di stesura su nuovi brani. Dopo un periodo di composizione, alternato a qualche esibizione live, si passa alle pre produzioni nel 2014 e finalmente nell'estate 2015 i ragazzi registrano il nuovo album presso il Goes At Hella Rec. Studio di Leffe(BG), per il quale il mix e mastering vengono curati da Riccardo Daga al Titans Lab di Ferrara Le tematiche affrontate nei nuovi brani sono principalmente legate all'amore, testi introspettivi, il fare pace col passato lasciandoselo alle spalle per poter ripartire. Non a caso il titolo scelto è “A small step forward”. The project started in 2009 and blends the Californian punk rock attitude with the scratchy impact of a certain kind of alternative rock. In 2009, Let It Slide take part in the filming of "Un sogno serio", a film produced by 3lire Film, which tells the story about Albinoleffe F.C. intertwined with dreams of the inhabitants of the Seriana Valley; In the film they are shot while playing "Risveglio (Lotta)" during a live show. In May 2010 they released "Venom" their first EP, and start to play live shows to promote the album, getting a good response from the public. In the same year they signed for My Own Poison, a punk rock / rock n roll label Bergamo. - In 2011 the band starts to record "Mi Vida", the first song of the album that will be published in 2012. The next tour takes them to stop in various parts of Italy: from Melzo in Baselga di Pine '(TN), the “Balla coi cinghiali” Festival of Savona, in Brescia, in Emilia Romagna, performing abroad: in Belgium ( Eeenergem B52) and at Fiddler's Elbow -Camden Town (London-UK). In early 2012 Mattia joined the band as the new drummer. The band begins to write new songs and records a new single (Florentio - available on Amazon / iTunes), and in June they make a tour that sees them performing live shows in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Poland and Czech Republic. From early 2013 the three guys begins to work on new songs. After spending some months writing new songs, alternating with some live performance, and preproductions in 2014, then finally in the summer of 2015 the guys record the new album at the Goes At Hella Rec. Leffe Studio (BG), for which the mix and mastering have being cared by Riccardo Daga at Titans Lab in Ferrara(FE). The issues told in the new songs are mostly related to love, introspective lyrics, about making peace with your past and leaving it behind to start again. No coincidence that the title chosen is "A small step forward". The album will be released in autumn 2016 by Overdub Recordings via Code7/PHD.
