Heavily influenced by 90’s hip-hop, Lee’s sound is a bold mix of heavy beats and self-conscious lyrics. Capturing a slice of Australian life that we can all relate to, Lee is an artist in tune with the world around him. Lee defines his style as ‘conscious hip-hop’, offering sharp rhymes that flow with intricate meanings, hidden messages and plenty of depth.

After proving his talents in early 2010 & 2013 with the release of his mixtapes, Lee has continued to impress fans and critics alike. With head-nodding beats, the mixtapes feature beats from world recognised producers such as DJ Premier, MF Doom, J Dilla, Large Professor, Marco Polo, Pete Rock and more. Taking on the independent scene with a style and sound unique to him. Lee had recently released his debut EP in 2018, ‘Society Trap’, an original piece with beats sourced from Australian producers DJ Immaculate, Cosmo & Vampts.

Built from nine songs that perfectly illustrate his flow and dexterity, ‘Society Trap’ hits with a fresh, uncompromising sound, one that is instantly recognisable and impossible to deny. Filled with songs that take on corporations, elitists and governments who are using their power to manipulate and brainwash populations, the EP is a bold change of pace that is wonderfully refreshing.
