Johnathan Stone

Johnathan Stone was born September 26, 1987 in Renton, Washington. He is the son of Robert Stone and Suzanne Woods, and brother to Julia Stone, Maddy Stone and Ben Woods. Johnathan had a ruff childhood with the divorce of his parents who have both since remarried. Traveling back and forth from Alaska to spend time with his mother it was hard for him to gain a real connection with his mother. Johnathan is a Alaskan Native (Tlingit Tribe) and proud, although regrets not have a stronger touch in his native background. Johnathan is married to Jennifer Stone and the father of Parker Stone and Devin Stone.


Johnathan began his life in music when he was very little. Running around the house singing his own made up songs and ones he's heard on the radio. He started singing in his middle school chour in his home town of Nevada, IA. Although he loved it, his interest turned to sports and did not pick back up until his early teen years. Johnathan started writing lyrics at the age of 13 and did not become serious about his music until he met Eric Henderson. Eric saw something in Johnathan and he and Johnathan began working on his first solo album. Johnathan released his first album "New Lexicon" in 2004 under the name Baby Boy. His first show was a charity show for the local Boys and Girls Club in Ames, IA. He continued doing shows around the Ames area for friends, parties and a few bars.


Johnathan with the help of Eric Henderson began his own studio "Can't Stop Records." He began recording local artist and enjoyed meeting new people. Johnathan then started working on his second album intitled "Dream With Me" released 2009 under the name "LiL BB".

Since then Johnathan has took some time off from music and devoted his time for his family, working as a Electrician in Iowa Falls, IA. He is currently writing and recording is 3rd studio album (untitled) and is hoping to release it in late 2016/ early 2017. Stay tuned!
