For over 25 years Joseph Hasty and Centerpiece Jazz has been performing straight ahead classic jazz, swing tunes, show tunes and other standards along with Hasty's original compositions written in that old school style. Centerpiece Jazz plays all of your favorites including: Miles & Monk, Duke, Louis & Ella to Antonio Carlos Jobim, Coltrane, Cole Porter & more... and also several original compositions written in that Great Old American song book fashion that has "sophisticated" written all over them.
Playing a variety of venues and occasions CENTERPIECE JAZZ will modify the band line up to form a trio, quartet, quintet or sextet to accommodate any event or budget.
