About St. Apollo
Ethan Hightire, better known as Saint Apollo, is an up-and-coming artist based in Milwaukee. Having started his journey at 15 years old, he's formed a peculiar style usually using lo-fi sounds with influences from trap drums over a true-to-life, emotional flow. His music is often about the ups and downs in life, as he believes that it's okay to be not okay. He fearlessly tackles topics involving mental health and even depression, desiring to give people a sort of 'safe haven' within the music. Though he doesn't currently deal with these topics personally, he's had struggles in the past and has worked tirelessly to strengthen himself ever since. He believes that sadness and emotions are not weaknesses, but are large components of our humanity, and that they are necessary to have any growth. He hopes that his past experiences can translate through to his music and help listeners, even if it means getting considerably somber to do so. With that being said, he's no stranger to having a good time, and will put out music that inspires this mood. His mission is to expose your eyes to the (possibly) dreaded truth, and to help cope with the aftermath. He wants everyone to know there's nothing wrong with having a bad day, but there's always a time to be cheerful.
