About the future kingz
What might seem like an overnight success story in the making, due to their young ages and heavy popularity, The Future Kingz are anything but new kids on the block. 3 years ago, two brothers, Isaiah “Sosho” Fontz and Allen the Official, made their way from the breaking and jerk scene in Southern California, all the way to the Windy City , where juking and house music were birthed (Chicago). High school dances and talent shows were just the beginning. Their different look and dancing styles quickly intrigued other aspiring dancers, which before they knew it, expanded to a bigger family, recruiting new members, and forming what we know today as: The Future Kingz.

Even with the name though, TFK wasn’t always known. While other dance crews had dance studios, wardrobes and group managers, TFK just had each other- and a basement. Not one member of TFK comes from complete family. But together, these young individuals make their own family. They went from watching countless videos of their idols on YouTube, to becoming idols themselves. Even until this day, the group’s path is just being formed- practicing every night and growing every day. Having brief moments with stardom, like performing on the Ellen Show with Chance the Rapper and Lil Wayne has only given them more drive and more want.

Not many 17 to 20 year olds can say they got a personal invitation from Donatella Versace to star in a Versace commercial with supermodel, Gigi Hadid. And having cosigns and personal mentions from Chance, T-Pain, Vic Mensa, Kendrick Lamar (to name a few), isn’t just dumb luck. The talent speaks volume with these boys. The well-deserved recognition is finally starting to show, but their humble minds haven’t changed and the message is still the same: To inspire the invisible. For in every city, in every school, there’s a kid just like them. Sitting behind a computer screen, watching video after video, practicing every move they see, hoping one day they get their shot.
