Jeff cortez

it was in 1980 that Jeff Cortez started out his career as a DJ in the Paris night club « Le Whisky à Gogo ». The Disco wave had barely faded and it was with funk music that he started his career. These two musical influences definitely marked his now, eclectic sets.
Cortez has the talent and versatility to play all kinds of styles, ranging from Hip-Hop, R&B to House Music, Pop/Rock, EDM and of course Soul, Funk and Disco. Jeff Cortez soon became a regular DJ in famous 1980-90’s Paris Night Clubs, such as « Chez Régine » and « La Villa Barclay ».
Since then, he regularly roams worldwilde playing in prestigious night clubs such Pacha (Macao), O1ne (Liban), Yatch Club (Emirats), Gotha (Cannes) where he was resident DJ during summer 2016, Armani/Privé (Hong Kong), Bypass (Geneva), El Pacha (Tunisia), White House (Luxembourg), Pacha (Spain), Villa Blanca (Marocco), Segafredo L’originale (Miami), etc.
Last but certainly not least comes the noteworthy « Le Queen » where he has been the official DJ of the mythical « Disco Queen » nights for the past 17 years, where his parties set Paris on fire every Monday night.
Cortez has also made a House Hit « Like This House » in collaboration with Danny Wild, playlisted by Bob Sinclar and many other big names. He is currently in the studio
working on a Disco-oriented compilation which is set to release Summer 2018 .
