About Standard Issue Citizen

Standard Issue Citizen has been leaving its mark across the northeast and midwest US since 2007. Originally a project of frontman Tim Mizerak, the band has since grown to become a full-fledged act. They have shared the stage with many great acts including Assemblage 23, Aesthetic Perfection, Grendel, God Module, Ego Likeness, Nachtmahr, iVardensphere, Ludovico Technique, Leæther Strip, Psyclon Nine, Hanzel und Gretyl, De/vision, and more! Their first CD, Your Opinion Is Forfeit, was released in December 2010. It features a collection of the band's early works and was mixed by Isaac Glendening of Cesium_137. It was soon followed by the free SICfuck EP in 2011. In 2012, the band embarked on their first tour of both the northeast and midwest regions of the United States and released a new single "Superhero" featuring remixes from numerous rising talents in the industrial scene. In 2014, Standard Issue Citizen contributed the track "This Final Memory" to the Electronic Saviors: Industrial Music to Cure Cancer Volume 3 compilation. They also released another single, Signals of Distress, featuring new music and remixes. A proper full-length album is in the works and the band looks forward to performing it in front of audiences, new and old alike! New single "No More Rain" out 9.16.2016!
