About The Hard Maybes

The Hard Maybes are like Pop Rocks being poured into an ice cold glass of Coca Cola; an unmistakably familiar sound that's still not easy to pin down. The Hard Maybes marry 60's girl-group gravitas with a gritty indie style, in a way that no one else in the New Jersey scene seems to be able to do quite so effectively. And for that, they’ve earned themselves a standout place within said scene despite only having made their debut in 2022. Their EP "Thank You, I Think?" drops May 24th with Telegraph Hill and Mint400 Records.

Lead vocalist Harley Cunha sings like the most left-swiped Disney Princess on the Internet. But rest assured, there are no Tinder Kings in these songs and the band’s no-effs-given attitude makes that abundantly clear. Brian Erickson (bass), Kyle Hahn (guitar), Andrew Ludewig (guitar/keys), and Matt Magnifico (drums), add in elements of their own personal styles and energy that the band attributes to their distinct sound.
