About João Balouta
João Balouta was born in Vila Real, Portugal, in 1988.
From an early age he showed an interest in learning music. At age 6 he accompanied his father for guitar lessons at a music school in Vila Real and learned to play the bevel flute. At age 10 he studied violin for a year. Later, at age 17 he decided to learn Piano through Youtube, by imitation and of course began to compose some songs for piano. In that year, studied at the Regional Conservatory of Vila Real and later at the Conservatory of Music and Dance of Bragança in the Piano course.
At the age of 22 he graduated in Music at the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança, with a semester of study at the University of Hradec Kralové, in the Czech Republic.
At age 28 he released his first album called Morphosis for Piano and Ensemble and began his World Tour.
