Dray Hamilton

Dray Hamilton (Andreas van Kooten, Netherlands, 1976)
Is a dutch dj based in Amsterdam who has been collecting records since the late 80’s when the electronic music first made entrance. He has been dj’ing for events since 2002.

He draws inspiration from his nearly encyclopaedic knowledge and genuine appreciation of electronic music. He cites a variety of important influences in the past decade, from the iconic Global Underground compilation series, to the sweeping sounds of Paul Oakenfold circa 1999, to Sasha & Digweed's Northern Exposure.

Dray Hamilton's sound is a mix of Real Progressive, melodic deep house,Techno, Tech house and Deep Tech. He always mixes the vibe and keeps it pumping. Music is his passion and makes his world go round.

Dray Hamilton is a resident of Club NL (one of Amsterdam's best and longest running nightclubs) and he also runs a clubnight concept named ''VIBE'' which is mostly held also in this club runned by old personel of the notorious Roxy Nightclub where Dray Hamiltom made his first steps as a clubber himself.
