Jacob Colon

New Yorker Jacob Colon has always had a connection with music as he spent his childhood playing self-taught piano in a 5-piece band accompanying his local gospel choir. He was brought up listening to genres such as Gospel, Latin, Hip Hop, R&B and used those influences to start his producing career. After stepping in PACHA in NYC, Jacob hung up his hip-hop boots and was magnestised to the house music scene where he finally found a genre that matched his unparalleled energy and instantly began to teach himself the art of Djing.

Since then, Jacob has evolved and developed his own signature sound of House music filled with unique mix of high energy, heavy basslines and rugged beats using his musical upbringing to set himself apart from the crowd. Jacob has seen widespread recognition and has achieved a #1 Billboard award through his collaboration with House legend Crystal Waters for the track ‘I Am House’. Into 2021 releases like ‘I Am House (Remix)’ have enjoyed acclaim around the world with international chartings including #01 in iTunes’ Dance Albums and #02 in overall albums chart in Chile. Jacob has also had heavyweight releases on the industry’s top labels such as Nervous Records with ‘Gonna Get it’ and ‘Your Love’.

Currently, Jacob is developing his very own imprint ‘Made to Move’ Records where you can find fresh new beats such as ‘Eyes So Low’, ‘Anxious’ and ‘Tu Sabe’- all of which have taken the scene by storm. Jacob’s work ethic and pure passion for music is second to none as he is constantly pushing himself to be at the forefront of greatness.

Away from the studio, Jacob continues to move up the ladder as a globally syndicated radio show host with his weekly ‘Made to Move’ show which is broadcasting on 30+ radio stations in the USA, UK, France, Spain, Austria, Sweden, Argentina, Switzerland, Germany, Russia, Italy, Poland, UAE, Portugal and more.
