About Gravity Hill

Gravity Hill was formed in 2010 by singer Lauren Dair Owens. The band has grown through many changes, and in 2014, drummer Taylor Reyes and lead guitar Shae Padilla joined to form the current band. Gravity Hill is an alternative rock/pop female fronted band lead by powerhouse singer and keyboardist Lauren Dair Owens. Lauren also plays the young Jess on the hit TV show "New Girl". Shae Padilla, on lead and rhythm guitar, is formerly of the bands KSM (who opened for Demi Lovato), and Starling Glow. Drummer Taylor Reyes has extensive experience performing with various southern California bands. The band performs their own originals as well as many cover songs. While the original songs are an alternative rock/pop style, the covers range from classic rock to current alternative indie styles. Gravity Hill is a high energy band that likes to get the crowd moving, but they can also perform slow, soulful ballads. As well as being a full rock band, they can also perform an acoustic set, and a hybrid acoustic/plugged in set. They have performed in many Hollywood venues, including the Troubadour, The Roxy, and The House Of Blues. And they have gigged at fairs like Orange County, San Diego County, and Santa Barbara Fiesta Days, as well as events like the Rock and Roll Marathon. All 3 of the Gravity Hill band members are very experienced performers that put on a professional and totally rockin' show! Alternative rock/pop band from Los Angeles.
