Abyance

Hailing from Buffalo, NY – Abyance is a thrash-infused metal band with modern flares that give the band a unique and tasteful sound. Abyance creates infectious lyrical passages provoking fans to join in and rush the stage, while also incorporating aggressive thrashy riffs with ripping melodic passages backed by a commanding rhythmic presence. The band utilizes their musical fluidity to include modern time changes and song structures to round out their entire sound. Despite the bands youth, Abyance efficaciously stays true to their heavy metal roots and have created a sound that appeals to metal genres across the board. Formed in 2013, Abyance wasted no time in making their presence known in the metal community. With the release of their debut EP “Age of Darkness” (Vile Records) in 2014, they quickly got the attention of larger national acts giving Abyance the opportunity to support bands like Machine Head, Gwar, Battlecross and more. After receiving solid feedback on their debut release and live performances, Abyance headed back in the studio for their forthcoming release "Parallels and Introspection” which was recorded by Nick Bellmore (Toxic Holocaust, Hatebreed, Five Finger Deathpunch) and mastered by Chris "Zeuss" Harris (Rob Zombie, Suffocation, Soulfly) which as released in July 2016 and has been attaining excellent feedback from press outlets. Abyance released a music video for “Terra” which superbly displays the bands skilled energetic performance and song writing abilities. Following the release of "Parallels and Introspection”, Abyance had the opportunity to join the elite ranks of the Extreme Management Group roster alongside staples in the extreme genre such as Suffocation, Cattle Decapitation, Cryptopsy, Origin, Decrepit Birth, Atheist, Threat Signal, Rings of Saturn and more. Currently the band is working hard to promote the "Parallels and Introspection” EP with heavy grass roots campaigning and live exposure.
