Craig Lackey

Based out of Nashville, Craig writes with many hit writers including Tim James (Lee Brice, Trace Adkins), Steve Williams (George Strait, Craig Morgan) and Jeff Batson (Tracey Lawrence) and enjoys working with up and coming artists. Craig has had many artists record his songs including Jimmie Van Zant, Maddie Wilson, Kim Parent, Steve Williams, and Amanda Penecale. The Dave Adkins release of “Cold In The Ground” written by Craig, Kenneth Johnson & Ray Bruce was top 10 on the Roots Music Review Traditional Bluegrass Chart. Craig has also had his songs placed in films and on TV shows, such as The Unit, Any Day Now, and Passions. Craig also produces SongNest Live, a carefully curated musical experience of songwriters/artists and backing players that happens every Tuesday night at The Crying Wolf in East Nashville.
