About Somebody To Love; A Tribute to Queen

Jason Nelson is singing lead with Somebody To Love. This Queen Tribute was a musical project that Jason was formulating for over a year and half before the bands first show. He currently sings with The Moon Bandits, The Jason Nelson Band, The Wackness, The Step Kings and Ghetto Soundwave.
Providing the bass skills for Somebody To Love; A Tribute to Queen is Jake Nelson. He ultimately channels John Deacon of Queen. His attention to detail and sensible clothing style choices make him the most logical choice for the coolest member of the band. And on drums!! Mr. Brian Sullivan. He currently plays with the Beastie Boys tribute band My Posse in Effect and the heavy metal tribute band Warhorse. Brian is an amazing asset to the band, fully in tune with all the Queen material dynamically and astrophysically. On the guitar, Kevin Lemen is right at home with the guitar stylings of Brian May. He stays true to the spirit of Queen and manages to lift the spirits of everyone around him through his music and positive attitude. He currently plays with his original music project Humans On Display and is the lead guitarist in the St. Louis cover band Plastic Kings. On piano and keyboard, Somebody To Love is very proud to have John Covelli in the ranks. He is a St. Louis veteran in the music and entertainment scene. He currently plays keyboard and trombone with The Grooveliner, North of the Quarter and Don Bailey's "The Bob Band". The chorus of Somebody To Love is a sight to behold with Jessica Butler as a member. She currently plays saxophone and sings with The Wackness, The JB's, The Ralph Butler Band and The Mo E Allstars. Somebody To Love is very proud to be working with a St. Louis music legend, Mr. Ralph Butler. As a chorus member Ralph brings versatility and wisdom to the timeless vocal tracks of Queen. No challenge is too big for Ralph! He currently performs regularly with The Ralph Butler Duo, Trio and his seven piece full band. Heather Brueggemann is a phenomenal singer. Currently performing with the band Pure Nectar, she is a thrill to behold on stage. The chorus of Somebody To Love has the passion and vocal chops to perform all Freddie Mercury's harmonies live (without a net) and Heather is a huge asset to the group.Show your love for Shelby "Q" Carter Jr. He has been a long time friend and musical confidant since the early 1990's. He has a voice like butter and his trumpet playing skills are second to none. He plays with The Wackness, Ghetto Soundwave and is doing a guest appearance with Mathias and the Pirates. As a member of the chorus, Q will dazzle you. Latonia Holland has been "Somebody To Love" for many years now. With an incredible musical resume of tribute/cover bands and original music projects, she is a force to behold. Singing with her husband in The Sean Holland Band and The Fixx on Late Night with Pascal, she is always busy entertaining St. Louisans every week. Come show your love on Friday July 22 as she performs your favorite songs from Queen as a member of the chorus. Timery Rogers is prolific when it comes to realizing Freddie Mercury's soprano, upper register vocal harmonies. She is adaptable in any situation which makes her invaluable to the chorus and a blast to perform with. She currently sings with The Fixx on Late Night with Pascal. Candace Wilbert joins Somebody To Love on the heels of her wildly popular band Mathias and the Pirates. She has been singing and performing in the St. Louis MO region for many years. Bringing an enthusiasm and positive energy to the chorus Candace is a super star in her own right, as a member of Somebody To Love she pushes the band to new heights.
