This was our 3rd time seeing Yachtley Crew at the Birchmere in VA! Always a great time! The band rocked once again with Pauly Shores absolutely killing it on the sax playing "Baker Street" while in the crowd. I am biased of course because he is my nephew! :) Their new original song "Pain of Losing You" is great and has been nominated for a Grammy! The band is tight, everyone does their part as gifted musicians! I highly recommend seeing their shows as they never get old!!! -NASA Uncle

Show was amazing! We had a great time, what we saw. The venue however should strive to have security make people sit in their chairs on the lawn. I missed huge chunks of the show because people would stand up. The way the stage is, if you are in a lawn chair and someone stands it totally blocks your view. Many people around me complained about it. Security was patrolling through the crowds to make sure people weren't drinking without a wristband but made no one sit. We had to get up and walk around so we could view the stage, because moving in unlit lawn in crowds wasnt happening. Very disappointing experience.

The Epstein Family Amphitheater is a wonderful venue. This was our 2nd time there and our 16th time enjoying a Yachtley Crew show. All the musicians are super talented and high energy. Unfortunately, I can't give it 5 stars because the original lead singer, Phil Daniel, has been tending to a vocal cord issue and wasn't fronting the band. There is something definitely missing when he is not there, just not the same energy and joy. It's not the band's fault, but it just wasn't the same as the 15 other concerts I've seen. (Also, it would have been nice if the band acknowledged his absence).

About Yächtley Crëw

Yachtley Crew is the nations #1 Yacht Rock band playing all the best soft rock hits from the Late 70's and early 80's.
Yachtley Crew is a Los Angeles area based band of talented and tenured musicians with a common set of goals: to entertain music lovers with some of the greatest songs ever written back in the late 70's and early 80's, and to have as much fun as possible while performing those hits. Some fans may know it as "soft rock", others may identify it as "yacht rock", a more recently coined phrase. One thing is for sure, Yachtley Crew takes their sound very seriously. "They pay tribute to the songs by nailing the performances, but also blow the crowds away with their live presence, group banter and on-stage antics", said one scribe... Be sure not to miss this first-class tribute coming soon to a club, ship or yacht near you!
