They delivered ! Amazing show ! I was blown away ! Not only did they play the full moving pictures album perfectly ! But they jammed other greats like 2112 , and Xanadu , plus their original music ! They also had a video in between sets with a short rush documentary, which was phenomenal !!! Great show can’t wait for you to come back ! By the way, if you do come back check out this venue in Buffalo that your band would sound amazing at. It’s called Buffalo Riverworks ! Rock on !!!!!

STAVO are creating a new form of progressive metal music that draws heavily from influences such as Dream Theater, Rush, Queensryche and more, and reflect on those to create a fresh, original musical sound that is both melodic and energetic.

“Void of Polarity XI:XI" (released December 2020) is a full length Concept Album. The story introduces a character named Indigo, who is trapped in a miserable Corporate America job, and focuses on the evolution of her journey through duality, away from the ego, towards her true purpose in this life. All the while, she is unknowingly guided by the Council of Light until she awakens to her true self. The record is filled with intersecting melodies, storylines, heavy prog riffs and everything you remember about great concept records.

Gray Matter, released in 2024, is an EP that contains 3 new tracks, 2 live tracks and 2 instrumental versions of the new songs. It marks the first original creation with keyboardist Rich DellaPietra, and according to guitarist and founding member Dan Staversky, “it’s when the modern version of Stavo was brought into existence”.
