Subsonica

Subsonica is an Italian Electronic/Rock band.
The group was formed in 1996 in Turin. Their eponymous debut album debuted at the end of 1996. The band gained real success in 2000 by playing the Sanremo Music Festival. The first two singles off of the album Microchip emozionale, "Tutti i miei sbagli" and "Discoteca labirinto" were hits. Their latest album, L'Eclissi was released in 2007.
Its style is a mix of electronic and rock and their lyrics are mostly about all the issues and paranoia affecting human beings. Its songs are every enigmatic at times but how the music is structured gives a particular and original insight to how they deal with many aspects of our society and of ourselves that we rather ignore than face.
