Red Tail Hawk

A fusion of alternative, indie rock and pop, this 5-man act
captures audiences with soaring melodies, heady grooves
and high-energy performances that have earned them great
distinction in Boston and up along the north shore &
seacoast.

Front-man Ben Zanfagna is the charismatic vocalist & sax
player whose songwriting and arrangements are inspired by
an artful mix of edgy blues, soul and jazz styles. Musical
influences combined with his international travels, deep
connections with nature and our human struggle to find
sustenance in a society driven by corporate & government
agendas are the pilot light of his artistic inspiration.

RTH is a well known act in the greater Boston music scene
and has opened for national acts such as G-Love, The Brew
and Chris Duarte, to name a few. They've played major
music festivals on Boston’s north shore and sold-out shows
at Opus Underground, Wally’s, The Stone Church in
Newmarket, NH, The Press Room in Portsmouth, NH.

Ben Zanfagna has been busy in the studio since Red Tail
Hawk's debut, self-titled EP in 2011 & following 2014
release, "Magnetic Malaise". In 2015 the band dropped
singles "Zoo" and “Blot" along with the acclaimed full-length
album, "Night Soup", in June 2016. In the fall of 2018 the band released their single, "Trees" in an extended format. In early spring of 2018,
Ben released a potent, introspective solo collection,
"Sketches", that draws on his most prominent muses from
the last decade.
