Iurii Samoilov

Iurii begins the 2019 – 20 season with his debut at the BBC Proms in Rachmaninov’s The Bells at the Royal Albert Hall with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales conducted by Tadaaki Otaka. Iurii will make a series of role debuts as Lescaut in Manon Lescaut and in the title role in Henze’s Der Prinz von Homburg at Oper Frankfurt, where he continues as a member of the prestigious ensemble. Other repertoire in Frankfurt this season includes, title role in Don Giovanni and Ned Keene in Peter Grimes. He will make his company debut at La Monnaie in their new Clarac-Delœuil > le lab staging of the Mozart/da Ponte trilogy as Masetto in Don Giovanni and Guglielmo in Cosi fan tutte.
