St. James & The Apostles

This charismatic power trio was named Best Local Band in Philadelphia Magazine in their 2019 “Best of Philly” issue, calling the trio “The Best Band You Never Heard of." This trio of self-described “soul-stirring psychonauts” blends psychedelia and hard rock with an irreverent dose of Southern gospel inspiration and puts on a damn exciting live show. St. James & The Apostles is a family affair. The band are all cousins hailing from a musical family fronted by guitarist Jamie Mahon and rounded out by organist/multi-instrumentalist Mike Kiker and drummer Jeff Castner. Their new album, "Black Psalms" is out now on Ghost Imprint.
