The Shoeys

The Shoeys from Australia, Guiseppe Fast and Wenno Livewire are a combination of the best lunatics in the business. Guiseppe Fast, raised by a Napoletano Mother & Sicilian Father (he still apologises) tripped over Wenno Livewire’s guitar cable backstage at a concert in Århus, Denmark back in…well it was a while back. .. Wenno, short for Wendel, a former school captain and very very smart fellow, naturally began talking Italian to Guiseppe causing much confusion for ‘the Fast’ instantly creating fundamental roots for a probable fake friendship and with the remote possibility of forming a band.
34 years later, Guiseppe Fast showed up at one of Wenno’s gigs with a bag of peanuts offering Wenno one peanut for every Beatles song. Wenno’s major concern however was if the peanuts were black market. Guiseppe naturally assured him that they were just doggy bagged from the local Copenhagen Zoo. After a successful meeting in the back of a smoky Copenhagen bar kitchen one eve, they quickly discovered a mutual passion for Formula 1 and legendary Australian/Italian driver Daniel Ricciardo aka. Honey Badger & decided to form a band on the spot.
They walked out of the bar picking up Guiseppes two monkeys eagerly awaiting outside on dog straps and went to Wenno’s house to learn some songs.
