Proverbs 12:25 states: "Worry weighs a person down; an encouraging word cheers a person up." These words are essentially the backbone of Beaumont, TX natives In Search of Mercy. After a long period of worry and the stress of life complicating the ability to create music, the young men of In Search of Mercy faced life head on with an attitude of encouragement and determination to share love and compassion with young men and women across the globe. The sonic presentation that ISOM creates is very spirit-driven and written to invite the Spirit of the Lord to enter and fulfill listeners with the encouragement and love that ISOM is rooted in. With heart-pounding breakdowns, heavy-laden worship choruses and the utilization of roaring guitars and ambient pianos and synths, In Search of Mercy is nothing short of raw power and the musical presentation of the band members' sincere hearts. Coming from the Houston, TX area, In Search of Mercy has the help of a great community of artists, promoters and venues who have helped shape and encourage them to strive high and make the scene proud. With their debut effort, "To Break This Hear of Stone," available online and at shows, they are gearing up to release new music, perform at more events, and share the Gospel of the Lord with as many young adults as they can.
