About Harry Heart
Multi-instrumentalist, singer song-writer and producer Harry Heart blends stadium rock with a DIY aesthetic. As a British-Australian artist he embraces duality. Refined yet messy. Traditional yet inventive. His guitar tone is a nod to U2 and The Killers. His production style shows influence from St Vincent and James Blake.
His label Kinda Grizzly was co-created with his brother Julian Wa in 2019. A strong advocate for independent artists, he releases music through Kinda Grizzly and uses the label’s resources to aid his peers in Britain, Australia and beyond.
Leaving East London at the age of ten, Harry arrived in Bundaberg, Australia, and retained a strong British identity throughout his Australian upbringing. By the time he finished high school, he had experienced regular airplay from the national station triple j and had toured in two bands. He returned to the UK for the first time in 2019 to work on new music and explore his home from home.
After several independent EPs and singles, the debut album ‘Summon It’ was released in 2021, receiving praise from the likes of Steve Lamacq (BBC 6 Music), Shell Zenner (Amazing Radio, BBC Introducing) and Sophie Sveinsson (XS Manchester), as well as being featured on the BBC Introducing Hot List.
Now totally invested in remaining independent, Harry Heart created his first NFT project in 2022, exploring a more direct relationship with fans. The sophomore album ‘Cambistry’ is being released one NFT at a time. As each NFT sells, he releases the song on all streaming platforms.
Harry Heart performed at Sounds Australia’s Aussie BBQ at The Great Escape 2022, and will appear at Beautiful Days Festival 2022, along with London and Manchester headline shows in November.
