About Voodoo Honey
Launched in April of 2005, Flint’s own Voodoo Honey quickly infiltrated and consumed the local scene to define the true Rock Show performance. The band’s expert musicianship, powerful five-part vocals, and dynamic stage presence creates the unique and powerful experience that has solidified Voodoo Honey as one of the most sought after bands in Michigan.
Voodoo Honey is a collection of talent from some of the most successful bands in Michigan including The Reverend Rite-Time & The 1st Cuzins of Funk, Jedi Mind Trip, Lazy Bones, One Pump Daisy, Crotch, Friends in Wonderland, Thrust and Still Rain just to name a few. The combined ensemble has been a supporting act for variety of national artists such as George Clinton and the P-Funk All Stars, Sponge, Katherine McPhee, Nazareth, Warrant, Jackyl, and Quiet Riot. Voodoo Honey members’ studio work, both together and separately, has spanned the gamut of the industry and has included working with producers Nile Rogers and The Bass Brothers.
