About Tombstone Wasteland
Whether it’s from the oil fields in Texas, the farms in Alabama or the mountain in Colorado, Tombstone Wasteland comes from hard working American families. It shows in the hard work and dedication they put into their sound and live performances.
Pat McAndrew and West Price were sitting in Lemmy Kilmister’s favorite bar, The Rainbow, when they decided to start Tombstone Wasteland. Once they got back home to Austin, Texas, they wasted no time in getting bassist Nick Parra to round out their sound.
After only a few weeks together, they walked into the studio and laid down the self titled, double ep “Tombstone Wasteland”. Since releasing their first EP “Tombstone”, filmmaker Brandon Reich liked the music so much he used it in his film, “The Bob Zula”.
The boys of Tombstone Wasteland don’t stop there! They have taken to the road quite well and put on a killer show! To quote their drummer (Pat McAndrew), “We play our asses off and put on a great show so when people come to see us they forget about their problems.” And it shows! From jumping off stage to dance with the crowd to bringing the crowd on stage, these boys were born to put on a hell of a show! Needless to say, they always leave the people wanting more.
After one of their shows Joel Tucker, owner of Fine For You Records, was so blown away he signed them to his label. When asked what was it about Tombstone Wasteland, Mr. Tucker said, “It’s like brute force and ignorance had a baby with style and grace.” You can catch them on the road, follow them or chat with them personally on social media.
