The Rise of the Broken

The Rise of the Broken is an alternative rock music project that was founded by Kevin Rodriguez back in 2008. While Kevin’s love of music began at a young age, his passion for it developed during his stay in Germany. It was there that he was able to fully indulge in the art having the opportunity to experiment with an acoustic guitar. Once arriving back home in the United States in 2009, he was eager to continue working on his passion determined to make his new found dream a reality. Kevin spent the next few years creating music, releasing his first CD “Nickled and Dimed”, and touring across the United States. In 2013, Kevin began to experiment using different sounds within his music; later releasing his second album that year “Stop Chasing Ghosts”. Following this release, Kevin toured off and on for two years promoting his second CD. He didn’t stop there however, between touring he was filling his time by creating a third album, “Surpassing the Signs”, which was released in 2015. As Kevin continued to gain more recognition, he received the opportunity of a lifetime in 2016. Kevin had the chance to work with Jim Wirt, a well known and respected producer from Cleveland, Ohio known for producing acts such as Hoobastank, Incubus, and Jack’s Mannequin. Produced in Crushtone Studios Frequencies was later soon released in early 2017. The Rise of the Broken takes everyone back to the nostalgic sounds of early 2000’s rock; often being compared to acts such as Simple Plan and Taking Back Sunday. While The Rise of the Broken continues to grow, the journey never ends as Kevin strives to relate and connect amongst the world with his music.
