I Am Victim

The inception of I Am Victim was born out of two very powerful forces. Today, We live in a world that is on a steady decline. This deterioration is only getting worse with each passing day. It’s a hard fact that we all face but has especially been growing more prevalent for Christians. The other is that we are all victims of something. We are victims of tragedies, victims of governments, victims of persecution, victims of circumstances, and more. One of the biggest problems that we are facing isn’t being a victim, it is what we do as result that truly defines us. When we fall or are knocked down, do we play the “victim card” or do rise above it? The goal of I Am Victim is to bring a much-needed edge to ministry. This edge is not only meant to stand strong in the world we live in, but also to make a significant impact in the lives of everyone they encounter. I Am Victim’s goal is to stand up and show that they are no different then any other person, that we are all dirty rags. The difference is they know a man that can change it all. Within the last several years people have become calloused and judgmental to Christians because we have been judgmental to them. Many techniques that ministries have been incorporating for centuries are just not working anymore. Making it nearly impossible to reach people. It's time to change our tactics… and that is exactly what they are doing. With I Am Victim’s roaring guitars, thunderous drums, and piercing lyrics, they are bringing God to people who need Him in a realistic way. Breaking away from the stereotypical “Christian” by showing everyone Gods love, compassion and acceptance through them. I Am Victim wants to go into the darkest of places and reach those who are lost, hurting, angry, sad, or confused. Not just though their music but on a personal level.
