Wakedown

After the break up of In Denial in September 2014 members of the band ventured down different paths with guitarist Paul being asked to join Birmingham band Valous whilst at the same time doing another brief project with Wayne along with Valous member Rig Dwyer, Ben Read (now of Valous) and KB (Silent Empire). But later soon dissolved due Valous member commitments.
After a meeting between Carl, Paul and Wayne almost a year later they rekindled the fire and rose up from the ashes and started writing new material as well as a couple of recently new In Denial tracks. Hence Wakedown was born. Recording began on April 29 2016 for their fist track What Lies Beneath then later in July recorded From Ashes. Wakedown were later joined by bassist Frazer Banks, 2nd Guitarist Stevo Timbrell and in late 2017 drummer Jack Kent joined after previous drummer Wayne retired from music altogether at the beginning of March. A new EP and album are currently in the works
