Joe Francis is a bespectacled, multi instrumentalist and singer/songwriter from Cornwall, UK.
Songwriter, Solo act, leader of Radio 2 favourites 'Winter Mountain' & lead singer/bass player of rad-ass bar band 'Revolver'. Busy boy.

Joe has toured the world, and performed alongside some of the biggest acts in music, including Seal, The Feeling, Fleet Foxes, Seth Lakeman, Richard Thompson, Rosanne Cash, Adele and Paolo Nutini.

At just 21 Joe's first band 'The Ammunition' scored a record deal and recorded his first album at prestigious Abbey Road Studios. 2009 Joe recorded his debut solo album 'The Sun Sessions' at the legendary Sun Studios, Memphis. Made up of collection of songs that he wrote whilst spending 3 months exploring the USA, 'The Sun Sessions' was made available for digital download on halloween 2009 and appeared in the iTunes singer/songwriters chart shortly afterwards.
Joe formed folk/harmony duo Winter Mountain in late 2009 with Irish Singer-Songwriter Martin Smyth after a chance meeting on a train in Chicago Central Station. Winter Mountain were signed to folk singer Cara Dillon's folk label 'Charcoal records'. Winter Mountains self titled debut album was recorded at a host of vintage studios across the UK and features 'a songwriters dream band' which includes Robbie McIntosh (Guitarist with The Pretenders/Paul McCartney/Norah Jones) and Audrey Riley (Cellist with Blur and Smashing Pumpkins. Winter Mountain have proved immensely popular on the live circuits the UK and Ireland, touring with Seth Lakeman, Cara Dillon and Rosanne Cash as well as selling out their own intimate headline shows.

Joe continues to write and perform solo, with Winter Mountain and various 'local' bands including 3 piece rock outfit 'Revolver'.
