Dream Theater

So many notes! Yet each note is given the room to breathe. An absolutely incredible performance. Actually two shows. The first featuring new material, followed by an intermission, and then the complete, extended "Images and Words" set. Absolute virtuosity interlaced with story telling relating the band's early days and the significance of the "Images and Words" album. If Dream Theater plays your town, do not miss the show.

A very competent show. Images and Words is worth listening live and it also features a couple of easter eggs, just like John Myiung covering Jaco Pastorius. The "and beyond" has a couple of choices that i understand (more recent songs), but just aren't the right ones. Songs that are not engaging (or even good, in comparison) and therefore don't work that well in live environment.

The Images & Words part was magnificent as expected, but the first act was a huge disapppointment! How can they choose such a boring setlist?? "As I am" and "Breaking all illusions" excluded, the only great songs in the first part!! Always great to see & hear these progressive musical masters, but they could improve the setlist significantly!!!

Have seen way better DT shows. They get more and more expensive, shirts are 35€ now! Seriously? First half was okay, second half way better. Great to hear Images and Words in full. Didn't like James's voice that night though. Live is always a bit difficult with him, was better on CD.

Amazing show... my 11th time seeing Dream Theater and they never fail to amaze me.The first time I saw them was on the Images and Words tour in 1993 on the 1st of April in a small club called Melody in Stockholm. Was fantastic to se them play the I&W album in full.This was also the first time that I got to see A Change of Seasons which has been a favorite song since the EP was released.I was in heaven with my jaw dropped to the floor...

The show was awesome! This is the 3rd time I've seen them on this tour. I saw them at the beginning in Denver and Los Angeles in May. Now at the end in Temecula! The guys look tired! Time to end the tour soon so they can enjoy the holidays with their families! Best wish to all of you and Happy Holidays!
