Metro

Although still some way from household name status, Luxembourg trio Metro will make a notable climb up the independent music ladder with the release of their second full-length album in 2011 on the German indie label Waggle-Daggle. Their last EP "Too Many Lovers“ already demonstrated their ability to pen no-foolin' tunes in the form of kicking and screaming, clearly indie-inspired, electropop dance music. Metro like catchy hooklines, sexy synthesizers, throbbing krautrock and three-part harmonies. They create soundscapes carved from repetitive, rhythmic drones and menacing synths with more than a nod to ultradanceability and the search for the one true pop song. On the melodically tormented side of post wave, but with a built-in platinum disco-rock dancefloor, this is Metro. rainy days are over now
