About Dazor
Old rage meets new heart, Dazor is the sound of East coast vibes with echoes of Seattle. Drawing on influences from the alt rock/grunge movement of the 90s, their sound is biting guitars, pounding rhythm and rousing choruses topped with a spitball pop sheen that sits in the sweet spot of heavy and melodic.
Dazor formed in February of 2016 in a dingy basement in the heart of the city of Halifax, Nova Scotia. The alternative rock band were quick to hit the scene, with their debut EP [2017] "Back to the Lounge " recorded with award winning audio engineer Darren Van Niekerk. In 2019 the band released their follow up single “All Night”and added Derek Thibeault adding a new dimension to their sound.
