About Scarletinas

'Scarletinas deal in anthemic, blistering in yer face rock n roll’

Scarletinas exploded onto the scene with a packed out live debut at Camden's Black Heart in April 2016, unleashing a sonic onslaught of soaring hooks, fist to the face guitars and unstoppable energy.

Six months later, Scarletinas were supporting The Rifles all over the UK as part of their October/November tour (including a show in front of a packed out Camden Koko), played all three of The Rifles' sold-out Christmas shows in December, made their TV debut as part of Magners' 'Hold True' ad campaign, directed by Jake Scott, which first aired during the Euro 2016 coverage. They then went on to make their European debut supporting The Graveltones of February 2017, coinciding with the release of their debut single 'Walking On Water' – the accompanying video being premiered by Wonderland Magazine, who said; ‘Scarletinas are one of the most exciting bands around at the moment. Full of unstoppable energy and hooks that can send a crowd wild… the same style and energy that saw bands like Nirvana propelled into fame.'

Following their Glastonbury Festival debut this summer, Scarletinas – (Marc Hayward - Vocals/Guitar, Dan Williams - Guitar/Vocals, Billy Burgess - Bass, Jim Portas - Drums) - headed into the studio and are set to release their second single ‘Walls Down’ on October 27, the day before they head out on the road supporting Kitty, Daisy & Lewis on their European tour.

'Scarletinas are one of the most exciting bands around at the moment. Full of unstoppable energy and hooks that can send a crowd wild, the four-piece band are already making an impact on the alternative rock scene... the same style and energy that saw bands like Nirvana propelled into fame.' - WONDERLAND MAGAZINE

'Scarletinas deal in anthemic, blistering in yer face rock n roll. The London 4-piece’s debut single ‘Walking On Water’ brings to mind the straight up rock anthems of JET and Foo Fighters, it’s massive.' - GIGSLUTZ/THIS FEELING TRACK OF THE DAY

'Scarletinas - possibly one of the most exciting bands out there right now. Their set was immense and intimidating and thrilling right from that first chord, with a unique roughness throughout. I haven’t had that kind of reaction to a band in a long time, but Scarletinas were truly thrilling... The anthemic sound to the band gave their set a stage-shaking, blistering feel which was full of proper rock power.' - INDIE UNDERGROUND

'Great raw rock. I absolutely love it. BRAVO' - ELLIOTT RANDALL (STEELY DAN)
