About Olga Kouklaki (official)
Born in Athens-Greece, she started playing the piano at the age of 8 and never quits music since. While having her classical music studies, curiosity brings her into the electronic scene. She starts djing in bars and clubs and enters the music production world. In 2001, she moves to Paris and starts writing music while taking courses in interior design and contemporary music. On January 2003 she releases her first track “Don’t look at me” for the UK label Sumsonic, under the alias ODD, which was remixed by Paul Rogers among others. Then starts co-operating with french label Fcommunication participating as a programmer-keybord player in the live project of Jay Alanski (aka Reminiscent Drive) and as a dj . She records vocals for Fred Avril’s track “Tv Dinner” (label Fcom) and for Poni Hoax’s track “Budapest” (label Tigersushi) receiving great reviews all over Europe. She also participates in the live projects of Bang Bang and Nouvelle Vague as a Programmer-keybord player. In the meantime she starts working on her own project. Her EP “Getalife”, including Blackstrobe’s Rmx, is released in 2007 and her album “Getalife” in 2008, both by “The PerfectKiss/Pias”. The album had also great reviews and the track “Her Own Right” is placed in the French movie “Une Nuit” and French TV series “Mafiosa”. In 2008 she composes and presents music for 2 silent avant garde films ("En'tracte", "Les aventures de Vilard") for the French Film Festival (CINEMIX). She takes part as a member of jury in “Festival de 4écrans” (European films) held in Paris, and in “Public Digital Film Festival” held in Athens. In 2009 she remixes greek singer’s Dimitra Galani track “Den Ise Edo” (Sony Music Entertainment Greece). She records vocals for french artist Patrick Bouvet (track “Night Call”) and Poni Hoax (track “The soundrack of your fears”). In 2012 she releases her second personal album “I U Need”. Album receives great reviews and appears as N°1 best selling album in Virgin Megastores/Grand Boulevards in Paris. Track “Stop” from the album, is placed in the French movie “MOBIUS” with Jean Du Jardin and Tim Roth and also appears in its soundtrack. She also records vocals for the track “Do it” for Jori Hulkkonen’s latest album “Negative Time”. In 2013 the album “I U Need” is re-released as a bonus track version including remixes from : Jori Hulkkonen, Nouvelle Vague, NTEIBINT, Teeel, Marcello Giordani, T.Finland Thodoris Triantafillou & Cj Jeff among others and gets a Limited Edition Vinyl Release from UNDO Records in 2014. Her EP “Love Is Gone” and “Fist” feat Nomi Ruiz (aka Jessica6) is released from EMI/Universal Music Group and has been on rotation at KCRW Radio Station in the US. Track "White Holy" and "Big Fish Fight" with Savvas Ysatis are both released by Get Physical Music on compilations : "Full Body Workout Vol.18" and "Words don't come easy" in 2016. Her track "Charmer" is recently out on "Suprematism" compilation by Supremus Records and likewise "Low Road" by Get Physical Music on "Full Body Workout Vol.20". No Life Without music ! !
