Canceled Plans

Canceled Plans is a band that makes music for people who like to stay home. Sometimes full-band and sometimes solo, Michaela writes and performs originals with pop-driven melodies and roots in indie rock and Americana.

Michaela Stock, a 21-year-old college student out of Grand Rapids, started writing songs and playing the guitar three years ago. She performed her first supporting gig in April of 2017, and in the year and a half since has performed in favored Michigan venues such as Bell’s Brewery, The Robin Theatre, The Loft, Mac’s Bar, as well as the Pyramid Scheme. Her debut single, Stay in Place, was released March 5, 2019, just before by her debut out-of-state gig in Austin, Texas at South by Southwest in 2019.
